College History

A place born of vision and defined by its exemplary values!

The College has a diverse and blessed timeline to swank of! It all begun in the year 1922, when a batch of nuns from the city of Trivandrum, Kerala (God’s own country) arrived at Bombay for the first time. They established a new convent in 1922.The nuns took charge of the primary school in Santacruz on 22 nd April in the year 1922. In 1973, the training college for teachers, was inaugurated and was named St. Teresa’s Institute of Education. The Special School began in the year 1989.

Finally, St. Teresa’s Junior College of Education – the D.El.Ed.college was established in the year 2006 by the St. Teresa’s Society under the leadership of the then Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Lilian Rosario and Managers Sr.M. Geraldine and Sr.M. Delphine.
